Hoyt Arboretum and list Parks and natural areas we have visited

Parks we have visited after moving to Portland

I still cannot believe how many Parks we have visited! And yet, we have a long list to complete and write about it.

Previously to move to Portland in 2013, I studied a lot about this place, the state, and the surrounding areas. The first impression after seeing the map was how green everything was

Also, I read an article talking about the concept of being a tourist in your city. And I regretted not doing this in my hometown in Argentina.

Parks we have visited after moving to Portland Oregon

Immediately after arriving in Portland, I decided to create a list of Parks and Natural areas we wanted to explore with my kids. We all love nature, and the parks are amazing here.

So after started the challenge mentioned above plus creating our blog, I came up with this list of visited parks and natural areas that I’ve documented so far.

I hope the following list, organized by State, helps you to find some ideas for future adventures.
