Sunflower field at Lee Farms Harvest Festival!
Who doesn’t love walking in a yellow and bright sunflower field? In case you are looking for that experience, in August, Lee Farms is offering the opportunity to enjoy these beautiful fields and even a maze during the Harvest Festival.
This visit was our first time in a Sunflower field. However, it won’t be the last one, for sure!
It was a fun and beautiful morning with my daughter (Mom and daughter date ❤) enjoying the beauty of Lee Farms in Tualatin, Oregon.
What to see and do
We love visiting farms during different seasons! However, it’s a kind of new type of activity for us. We started to experience these festival vibes when we moved to Oregon, but more during the typical Fall time.
So this summer, we did berries picking, and this week we attended the Sunflower harvest festival at Lee Farms in Tualatin, Oregon.
Since this year is a special one, this farm that has been working since 1869, adapted the procedures for attending the festival to follow the guidelines about social distancing. For that reason, we bought our tickets online before heading out to the farm.
Once you arrive at the farm, there are different activities you can enjoy with your admission, for instance visiting the Sunflower field for picking some (one flower ‘bloom’ is included) or for photoshoots, fun hayrides, Sunflower Maze, and Live Music (Sat/Sun).
We were amazed at the variety of sunflowers you can grow, the beauty of them, and my daughter loved the hayride and visiting the horses.
And after or during your adventures at the farm you have the option to buy some food or snacks, and you’ll find picnic tables as well.
So hurry up, there is time until August 30th to explore these happy fields.
